Farah Yousuf: A Multifaceted Talent in Education, Writing, and Sports
Farah YousufFarah Yousuf, also known as Waseem, hails from the Mengal tribe and excels in multiple fields, including education, writing, and sports. With a solid academic foundation, she holds a BS in English from Sardar Bahadur Khan Women's University and an MS in English Linguistics from Lasbela University. Farah is an author of two significant works on the Brahui language, Derivational Morphemes in Brahui Language and Inflectional Morphemes in Brahui Language. Beyond academics, she is a passionate social activist promoting women's empowerment and social development In sports, Farah’s achievements are equally remarkable, with multiple gold medals in judo, karate, badminton, cricket, football, hockey, washu, and many more activities in sports from prestigious tournaments such as the All Pakistan Wushu 2018, All Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam sports, national events all over the Pakistan, Balochistan Sports Festival and the Golden Brothers Open Karate League. Her excellence extends to athletics, badminton, and cricket, representing Pakistan as a coach and referee. As the first woman from District Nushki selected for both the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Coach Education Program and the FIFA MA Elite Refereeing Courses, Farah continues to set new benchmarks. Her leadership as a vice president in Mix Martial Arts (MMA), lecturer, sports instructor, coordinator, read program coordinator in Army and coach inspires many, especially women in Balochistan.
